A

t The Watermark at Napa Valley, Goebel Design Group was tasked with creating a welcoming and functional breakroom and locker area for the community’s staff—a space that fosters rest, privacy, and rejuvenation amid the demands of daily operations. Working within a tight budget, GDG focused on thoughtful layout, efficient material selection, and warm, restorative design details that elevate the employee experience.

The result is a calm, comfortable retreat set apart from the public areas of the property, offering staff a place to relax, recharge, and connect. Durable surfaces, inviting lighting, and a cohesive palette tie the space to the broader design of the community while maintaining a distinct sense of privacy and appreciation.

Even behind the scenes, GDG’s design approach ensures every space—resident or staff—supports wellness, belonging, and care.
