ocated within Maravilla Scottsdale’s resort-style senior living community, Café del Sol was reimagined by Goebel Design Group as a lively, multiuse destination at the heart of the campus. Once an underutilized café, the space was transformed into a vibrant gathering place for residents—serving equally well as a fast-casual dining venue, morning coffee spot, or small event space.

The redesign introduced all-new millwork, flooring, lighting, furniture, art, and accessories, uniting the space with a sense of contemporary warmth. Decorative laser-cut panels and a custom banquette define intimate zones within the open plan, while the mercantile-style counter and condiment stand add a touch of handcrafted charm. Natural textures, layered lighting, and a rich desert-inspired palette bring energy and ease to every corner.

The result is a flexible, design-forward space that feels active, social, and distinctly Scottsdale—where residents can gather, dine, and connect throughout the day.
