 top the bluffs of Corona del Mar, Watermark at Crown Cove captures the spirit of coastal California living. Goebel Design Group led a full renovation of the community’s main floor—including the lobby, dining venues, library, café, and multipurpose spaces—transforming them into places of connection and refined ease.

Drawing inspiration from the region’s surf culture and shoreline textures, the design balances sophistication with a relaxed coastal sensibility. Laser-cut kelp-inspired screens, oyster shell chandeliers, and layered natural materials evoke the ocean without resorting to theme. Warm wood tones and soft textiles bring contrast and comfort, while flexible furnishings in the multipurpose room allow it to transition effortlessly between theater, fitness, and social gatherings.

The result is California chic at its most welcoming: elegant, textural, and deeply attuned to the rhythms of seaside life.
