oebel Design Group provided the full interior design and implementation for Watermark at San Ramon, a senior living community nestled in California’s East Bay. From the project’s inception, the design drew inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement—celebrating craftsmanship, honest materials, and a deep connection to nature.

The community was thoughtfully organized into multiple neighborhoods dedicated to assisted living and memory care, each with its own distinct character. GDG’s goal was to make every neighborhood feel unique and welcoming while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic across the property. Rich wood detailing, handcrafted textures, and a warm, earthy palette create a sense of authenticity and comfort. Carefully layered lighting and intimate lounge groupings bring scale and familiarity to the architecture, encouraging connection among residents and staff.

The result is a community that feels timeless yet personal—one that honors craftsmanship and place while supporting dignity, independence, and everyday joy.
